Rita is a caregiver for her father who has dementia. She speaks about the importance of persons living with dementia to remain socially connected and interact with others. Rita enrolled her father in an intergenerational program TimeOut that allowed him to hold virtual conversations weekly with a college student interested in aging. To Rita’s surprise her father connected with his college student partner and instantly felt heard.
